Love Food Hate Waste

This summer Johnny was asked to lead the Love Food Hate Waste campaign across Nottinghamshire. Johnny toured the county for a number of Love Food Hate Waste roadshows throughout September and October with Nottinghamshire County Council and Veolia Environmental Services Nottinghamshire.

Johnny showcased a number of mouth-watering dishes using everyday left-over ingredients. He particularly focused on meat and how not to waste it with his 'five ways with a chicken' being a crowd favourite. Johnny also created a sausage specially for the campaign, the 'Love Food Hate Waste Sausage', using up leftover baked beans, tomatoes and bacon!

It was a pleasure to be involved with such a worthy campaign.
